Local PBR Enterprise Event

My mother and I went to a PBR Enterprise event this past sunday at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona NY. To say the least it was a blast. Many impressive riders were there, but with the way the go rounds are set up, half ride one night and the other half the next. Despite that we got to see Mark Ward, Cord McCoy, Allan Moraes, Corey Navarre and Ross Johnson, along with many others. Two riders who were there but didn't ride on Sunday when we went were Paulo Crimber and Guilherme Marchi. We did manage to get some autographs from most of the riders, which was wonderful. On top of that we had incredible seats, second row back, right by the chutes, and we were behind a stock contractor who knew all the other contractors and which bulls went with who. And she was more than willing to tell us who people we didn't recoginize were. A bull she knew, or owned, I wasn't too clear on which, Johnny Ringgold, put Ross Johnson in the dirt in the short go. All in all it was spectacular, though I don't recommend the coffee at the casino. We, or rather my mother, got some wonderful photos, which will go on as soon as I figure out how to put them into the blog. At the moment mom has some photos on her blog which are pretty nice.

I'd love to go to a PBR event! How fun!

Did you hear about Edgard Oliviera? I could not believe he shoved that judge! I'm glad they suspended him for a year, and I loved Ty Murray's comment that unlike other sports, the PBR is not going to allow their athletes to get out of control.

I did hear about Oliviera, and while I am also glad they aren't going to allow the riders to get out of control, I think a full year is rather harsh, most other sports go by a number of games, so maybe they should have considered going by number of events.
And the event was wonderful. There is another one up here in September in Rochester. I am definitely taking a few days off and going.
