And the Canadian National Champion Title Goes To...

The Canadian National Finals rodeo event wrapped up this past weekend in Calgary, Alberta. When everything was said and done and the lights had dimmed, Scott Schiffner (Strathmore, Alberta) was holding the crown. Schiffner covered Big Dog from Braithwaite Ranches for 90.0 in the short go, giving him tops in the go round, second in the event results with a total combined score 347.5, and the overall champion position over his fellow countryman, Aaron Roy (Asquith, SK). Roy finished out the season in second, finishing fourth overall at the event with 346.5 points. Winning the event itself was Randleman, North Carolina cowboy Brian Canter. Canter finished out the weekend with 348.0 total points.
