Totally by accident you get pictures like this. (Click on it, it is much better that way)
I stopped at Lykers Pond on my way home from lunch at the college with the siblings and some grocery shopping for mom. I was taking pictures of everything. And as I took them I got to wondering why on earth there weren't any Blue Herons around. I mean the water was full of minnows and such. But I didn't see any Herons. Then as I looked through the photos I had gotten in the car I spotted this one. What do you know. I just didn't see him. I tried to get a better picture of him but he waded back into the marsh.

Some of the best pictures I take are off the cuff shots. Like the little minnows too!
