Jack Daniel's Invitational-Round One

Round one for this weekend's event in Rosemont, IL was packed with the 'heavy hitters' of the bull riding world. World Champion Justin McBride has returned after more than a month away awaiting the birth of his daughter. He drew the Curtis Mendell bull Can Rock. Justin faced off with this bull back in St. Louis and put up a no score. Last night however he put up an 81.5 and ended up with a tie for 10/11. Topping the go round was Helton Barbosa. Barbosa put up a score of 89.00 on Sports Machine from Page & Teague & Buck. Another man who has returned to competition after injuries side lined him for quite some time is Cory Rasch. Rasch proved he is back for good, putting up a score of 86.75 on Mohegan Sun from Jack Simmons getting him second place in the go round. In all, fifteen men covered their bulls in the first go round, with the second, third and short go all today.
