The Johnsonville Brats, Jerome Davis Challenge, Round 1

Tonight kicks off Round One of the Johnsonville Brats/Jerome Davis Challenge in Greensboro, NC. Perhaps the biggest news of the weekend is the return of the Mighty One, Mike White, to competition. As many will remember Mike broke his back in Kansas City, MO at the Cabela's Classic all the way back in March. This weekend Mike will face off against a new bull from Jerome Davis called Lakota. Let's all hope Mike can make up some of the ground he lost while being out for such a long spell. Several older bulls will also face off against the top forty five riders in the world. Kelly's Kat, from the Torres Brothers, made his debut back in 2002. Tonight he will try to throw off Cord McCoy (Tupelo, OK). Kelly's Kat has been ridden 9 out of 36 career trips, his most recent a buck off against the Summerville, GA man Sean Willingham. This weekend Sean will take on Thunder River from Fronteir Rodeo Company. Thunder River has been ridden 5 times in nearly 30 trips with an average score of 86.4 points. Clueless, another Fronteir bull, will meet up with the 2004 World Champion and 2004 World Finals Winner Mike Lee. The current points leader Guilherme Marchi will take on Mule Train, the young bull from Robinson/Tedesco, who has been out just two times in his short career. Being ridden once by none other than Guilherme for 87.0 back in January at the Worcester, MA event.

This should truly be an event worth watching.

You know, dairy and beef farm management actually sounds interesting to me. I went to Fresno State, and believe me, that's right in the agricultural heartland!

Hi Professor Douglas. Thanks for stopping by. It is a very interesting major, with the exception of the classes being fairly basic at our college due to the small campus size.
