December 29, 2006 will be a day long remembered in the minds of bull riding fans as it marked the passing of one of the greatest bulls the PBR has ever seen. Herrington Cattle Company's legendary bull Red Wolf passed away at the ripe ole age of 18. The 2000 lb. red and white bull was ridden just 20 out of 47 trips with an average score of 92.5. The Herrington's retired Red Wolf back in 2000 at the age of 12 at the PBR World Finals, to a standing ovation.
Good bye old son. You will be missed.
