Carter Bucking Bulls Kid Rock Dead at 7

One of the PBR's greatest bull athletes passed away this past weekend. The Carter family announced that on April 1st, Kid Rock died enroute to the Texas A&M vet facility where he was supposed to undergo emergency treatment for a throat problem. It is currently believed that he suffered a heart attack due to a lack of oxygen as a result of troubled breathing from a crushed larynx. This was likely as a result of a fight with another bull. Kid Rock had been ridden just seven times in almost fifty outs on the PBR. In his rookie year of bucking (2003) he was unridden right up until the finals when Sevi Torturo rode him for 92.5 points. Kid Rock will surely be missed both by his owners and his fans on the Built Ford Tough Series.
